Lucky

When I browse through my photos, I realize I am lucky to have so many great photos of my family, friends, and especially my girls. I would be so sad without all the family memories we have been able to capture. In the spirit of the holidays and giving, I will be giving one free mini session to a nominated family that includes a disc of 10 images and an 8x10 of their choice. Black Friday

Ok, so I have to admit that I do not go out shopping on Black Friday. I do not like crowds, the germs, the people pushing and shoving and just the overall time it takes to get an item and get out. I like to online shop on these days, but in honor of this sale event day I am offering free photo sessions for up to 4 people and 20% off any prints for sessions booked in January or February 2010. (Minimum print order of $250 required for this discount price). Email me with your date request by November 30th and this deal is first come first served. :)

I have many reasons to be thankful...great family and friends, the best clients, a safe place to live, and my family is healthy! These girls are the two that make me the most thankful everyday!

Dear Beach....

I miss you! This is my new favorite spot in San Diego. I love all the photos from this quick session with my girls, but I will have to wait to edit them...

Print reminder

If you are planning to order holiday cards, please have your request in to me by December 5th...any later than that and cards will not arrive until the 15th or later.
Regular prints should be ordered by the 5th as well if you plan to send to out of town friends and family.

This family is awesome...I have known Rocky since back in high school (I won't say how long ago that was!) and now I was able to meet his beautiful wife and 4 gorgeous kids! They are all so sweet and even their dogs are adorable.

I am back!

We are back from the beach and now it is time to play catch up! I have so many great photos to share, but for now it will have to be just one of my girl looking for crabs near her feet. She used to be petrified of sand, but luckily loves it now.

Family

I love taking family shots especially when they are great friends. This family is so sweet and happen to be our friends, so it was double fun until we were told our spot was not a playground. LOL...oh well, it was still a great photo session. I will have your gallery done soon. I didn't want to post too many sneak peeks. :) xoxo

Mom*Tog Blog

I know lots of photographers and most, well do not share. It just seems to be this thing that no one wants to help other photographers out from locations, products, or little tips. I have found a few generous ladies out there that share their great advice. One is the Mom*Tog. She shares tips for moms or even pros out there that have a passion for photography. I have learned about little gadgets like the Pixel pocket rocket, tips like write reward if found on your CF cards (so smart!) and ideas on finding time for location scouting...just always be on the look out! I found that is the main thing no one wants to share, which I find weird since everyone will make a space their own with different clients and what their style is. So, I learned to look around more while I am out with my kids and take advantage of them being willing to model on the fly at my new found spots. (See photos for my test runs). I love this gal for all her great information she shares even if she calls San Diego (my home away from home and where I will be doing photo shoots Nov. 9-13th) San De Lamo...LOL!
